About a man whose happiness is directly proportional to his wife’s blog hits

All I did was make a simple suggestion to my wife.  It was something gentle along the lines of “Get a friggin’ job already!”  Now she claims she is a blogger.  Does that really count as a profession?  Do people get paid doing this?  Will someone pay me?  I don’t understand.
